I picked up a camera about 10 years ago. The advent of digital photography sped up my understanding of light. Photographing people came naturally because I'm fascinated by everyone I meet.
After I moved to California and was surrounded by other like minded creatives, I started to shoot with teams of extremely talented people.

Like everyone else, I am fascinated by Humans of New York. When Facebook created a video about it, I loved seeing the interactions between photographer and subject in video.
So much more is said by body language that I was inspired to create little vignettes of people's stories on video. Someone Somewhere has a story to tell.

Most people dwell on what they don't like about themselves, rarely do we stop to think about what we do right, what we're good at, or what joy we bring to others.
Every so often, we should stop and think well of ourselves. Hopefully this project will make you think about what you're good at. Because believe it or not, you're pretty great!

Photography is one of the most powerful languages available to us. Every day, people take and share a staggering number of photos and videos. We created an app that allowed people to share the stories they were experiencing by combining photos, videos, and text in a beautiful way.
We launched on the iPad in January 2014, on the iPhone 9 months later, and then on the Apple TV.
We won an Apple Design Award in 2014 and a TechCrunch Crunchie for Best Mobile App in 2015.
